New rubber extrusion facility launch coincides with company’s 10-year anniversary.

Saint-Eustache, Quebec, April 2014:  Vicone High Performance Rubber announced today the addition of manufacturing capacity with the launch of their new rubber extrusion facility in Ville St-Laurent. This 7,400 square foot new manufacturing site represents Vicone's continued investment in capital equipment, R & D and human resources.

“This is a game changer for us”, said Eric Leclair, President of Vicone. “This additional capacity now allows for a tighter integration of design and production, and of course, at more competitive pricing and with shorter delivery times.  Increasingly, our clients, often dissatisfied with off shore quality, are requesting local content for manufactured parts, they want to have the ability to better control source and the opportunity to conduct audits at their supplier’s facility.”

Vicone hired a seasoned director of production to head up production.  He brings 30 years of rubber extrusion expertise to Vicone.    “This expansion provides us with unique capabilities to service the market in custom extrusion in all rubber materials both in solid or sponge. Materials such as silicone, EPDM, neoprene, fluorosilicone, and other specialty compounds. “
