R&D Molders Add New Bekum 155 Blow Molding Machine

Georgetown, TX – R&D Molders, Inc. adds a new Bekum 155 blow molding machine to serve in a new home and garden application. This machine contains dual heads and double sided shuttle for multi cavity output. Included is a custom built, dual station robotic trimming machine downstream from the molding machine to properly trim the container. This was quite challenging because of the rectangular shape of the container as opposed to the more conventional round containers. Plans for the future include an automatic part take out system, color feeder, and closed loop material handling system.
