Eriez­ announces promotion of John Klinge.

Erie, PA—Eriez, a recognized global authority in separation technologies, has announced the promotion of John Klinge to the position of Market Manager-Sanitary.

In this new position, Klinge will lead the Eriez Sanitary Team and take on primary responsibility for developing and implementing selling strategies to expand the sales of all Eriez products into the pharmaceutical, chemical, plastics, food and packaging markets.

Eriez vice-president of sales and marketing Charlie Ingram says, “Since joining Eriez in 2008 as a technical representative, John has excelled at developing Eriez business. In his most recent role as product manager-metal detection, he spearheaded the successful 2013 release of our new Xtreme metal detector.”

Ingram adds:  “Thanks in large part to John’s efforts, sales of the Xtreme metal detector have exceeded forecast and prompted our decision to double the metal detector manufacturing space at our Erie headquarters plant this summer.”

Prior to joining Eriez, Klinge served as a Captain in the U.S. Army. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and business, and military science from the University of Pittsburgh. He went on to recently earn a master’s degree in business administration from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.
