Wisconsin Oven Ships Tempering Conveyor Oven to Tool Manufacturer

Wisconsin Oven Corporation announced the shipment of an electrically heated standard two zone conveyor oven to a tool and equipment manufacturer. The belt conveyor oven will be used to temper steel parts and has the capability to heat 1,800 pounds of steel from 70° F to 425° F within a one (1) hour time period.

The tempering oven has work chamber dimensions of 3’0” wide x 34’0” long and 1’6” high and a maximum operating temperature of 500° F. Guaranteed temperature uniformity of ±10°F at 425° F was documented to meet AMS 2750E, Class 2 furnaces and Instrumentation Type C requirements.

Unique features of this tempering conveyor oven include:

  •     Guaranteed temperature uniformity of ±10°F at 425° F
  •     One (1) profile opening for each end
  •     One (1) personal access door in each zone (two total)
  •     Programmable temperature controller with auto-tune
  •     Over temperature protection

This belt conveyor oven was fully factory tested and adjusted prior to shipment from our facility. All safety interlocks are checked for proper operation and the equipment is operated at the normal and maximum operating temperatures.
