Mascoat Earns Russian Maritime Register of Shipping Approval

Mascoat is proud to announce our earning of another International approval for our Marine-DTM and Sound Control-dB coatings. The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) has issued approval through 2018. To ensure maritime safety, RS keeps high standards in its quality management system and promotes and implements high technical standards in the design on ships, shipbuilding and the shipping industry. The RS is very focused on safety of navigation, security of ships, life at sea, environmental safety of ships, safe carriage of cargo, prevention of pollution, and performance of authorizations issued by administrations and customers. RS is constantly devolving and improving its guidelines and rules in conjunction with the requirements of International standards ensuring safety at sea and pollution prevention.

Mascoat holds more than a dozen approvals and continues to be committed actively in helping the marine industry maintain the highest safety standards at sea.
