Self-Clean Module Gives Safer Drinking Water

German manufacturer, Bürkert Fluid Control Systems, has produced an automatic cleaning module for its Type 8905 Online Analysis system, for efficient and safe drinking water production.

Bürkert produces regulating systems for liquids and gases and supplies all fluid control system components.

It’s Type 8905 Online Analysis System supports waterworks to monitor the most important water parameters and comply with directives. The system gives drinking water treatment specialists an overview of the measured values to allow optimization of the single treatment steps, therefore contributing to efficient and safe drinking water production. Now the analysis device can also be cleaned automatically.

The Type MZ20 cleaning module can be connected as an add-on to the measurement system for dosing of cleaning solutions and performs the cleaning process on a time-controlled basis, although it can also be programmed independently. Based on changes in the measured values, the system tests whether the cleaning was successful and repeats the process, if necessary.
