American Excelsior opens West Chicago plant, expands in Texas

American Excelsior Co., a foam fabricator and molder, has moved into a new location in Illinois and expanded a branch in Arlington, Texas.

The company recently moved its Lombard, Ill., plant to West Chicago, which features a more functional operational layout to handle increased business. Michael Zumpano is general manager of the West Chicago plant.

In Texas, the Arlington Branch has been expanded to accommodate more equipment and a larger workforce.

American Excelsior fabricates flexible polyurethane, polyethylene and other specialty foams. Products include bedding, packaging, retail, marine, medical, cushioning, cases, display and furniture applications.
