Lift Gates are a cost-effective solution for personnel pass throughs.  Typically, 24”-48” long, this design pivots up and down with manual lift handles on both sides.  Locking mechanisms are included to keep the gate closed or in the open position.  Gas Strut or Counterweight styles are engineered to reduce the operator’s lifting effort.  This style can be self-driven standalone or slave driven from an adjacent conveyor section.

Retractable Conveyors are robust, powered equipment that retracts into themselves, allowing a clear opening to pass through.  Single retracts have standard 30”, 36”, and 42” openings, while two nose-to-nose single units can extend that opening to 84”.  This can create openings for forklifts, large carts, or other equipment to pass through.

Pivot and Rollaway Conveyor Systems can be a less costly option where regular operator access is not required.  Manufacturers mainly use this design to access areas that require occasional maintenance or changeovers.  Locking swivel casters and additional bracing are used on its supports so you can easily roll or pivot the whole system away.

Rollaway and Lift Gate styles are compatible with modular belts, plastic chains, fabric belts, and conveyor rollers.  Retractable conveyors are only made in modular belt style.
