Macrodyne Increases European Manufacturing Capabilities through its Acquisition of Dunkes

 

TORONTO, Ontario, January 20, 2022 – Macrodyne Technologies Inc., North America’s largest hydraulic press manufacturer, announced the acquisition of Dunkes GmbH, a well-established German press manufacturer with decades of experience in metal forming and industry-leading straightening and joining technologies.

Macrodyne has been supplying worldwide locations with customized hydraulic presses, press lines, and die handling equipment since 1990 from their manufacturing facility in Canada. In Europe, Dunkes began its business in 1960 with pneumatic assembly and riveting presses. Today, they have grown to become one of Germany’s most respected hydraulic press manufactures with an impressive portfolio. They are broadly known in the industry to provide more than an out-of-the-box solution. Customers rely on Dunkes to supply customized straightening, joining, and forming solutions that meet very specific requirements.

The acquisition of Dunkes adds those competencies to Macrodyne’s portfolio, along with increasing its European manufacturing capabilities and services.
