January 21, 2013, BETHLEHEM, PA—Flexicon is pleased to announce the release of their new Sanitary Tilt-Down Flexible Screw Conveyor. This screw conveyor is caster-mounted for maneuverability through narrow aisles and corners. The units fit through all standard doorways.

Unique features of this new screw conveyor system include a dust-tight surge hopper, a compressed air cleaning system, timed hopper cycle, charging conveyor adaptor, and more.

The unit is designed to transfer bulk ingredients from sub-micron particles to large pellets. The enclosed design reduces contamination and prevents product waste.
