Eriez Rare Earth Rolls Provide Exceptional Purification or Concentration of Weakly Magnetic Materials

Erie, PA--- Rare Earth (RE) Roll Separators from Eriez^® offer an option for handling a broad assortment of materials that do not respond well to traditional methods of processing on low intensity dry drum separators or high intensity induced magnetic roll separators. These stronger permanent magnetic separators efficiently and effectively purify or concentrate weakly magnetic materials.

With the ability to recover particles with a wide range of magnetic susceptibility and handle feeds from one–half inch down to very fine material, these separators are an ideal choice for an array of diverse applications.

The roll is constructed with incredibly powerful ERIUM 3000^® permanent magnetic discs alternating with thin steel pole pieces along a shaft. The steel poles are saturated with magnetic flux and produce a magnetic field in excess of 21,000 gauss. No power is required for the magnetic field.

Eriez RE Rolls provide excellent positive belt tracking for outstanding service life. They feature an innovative cantilever design which allows for quick and trouble-free belt replacement, typically in less than five minutes, with only one operator. The standard belting is Teflon coated, graphite filled Kevlar with thickness of five and ten mils.

Eriez offers RE Rolls in three, four and six inch diameter rolls in widths ranging from five to sixty inches. They are available in single, double and triple stage versions with either non-magnetic or magnetic-rerun.
