January 17, 2013—Sakor Technologies, Inc. has released its Accudyne family of AC Motoring Dynamometers. The dynamometer system is exceptionally flexible as it is compatible with a wide range testing applications. Some of these include hybrid vehicle drives as well as conventional engine and powertrain systems, electric motors, and rotary components like generators, alternators, compressors and pumps. The Accudyne dynamometers can be employed for almost any rotational testing need and come in sizes from fractional to over 2,000 hp, and speeds over 30,000 rpm. The Accudyne system uses modern vector drive technology to offer true 4-quadrant capability and totally seamless crossover between loading modes and motoring.
