HATFIELD, PA. - December 18, 2012- Brooks Instrument has just received International

Electrotechnical Commission (IECEx) certification for the SolidSense II pressure

transducers for use in hazardous environments.

The transducers are suitable for use in explosions from gasses, combustible dust, or

flammable liquids. The SolidSense II transducers are used in high purity applications like

semiconductor manufacturing. The new certification makes it easier for engineers to use

the transducers in multiple gas-based facilities and plants.

The SolidSense II transducers are stand-along units and can also function as integrated

sensors in thermal mass flow controllers. Learn more about the transducers by visiting

the Brooks Instrument Profile or www.BrooksInstrument.com.
