Color-Coded Bin System Increases Efficiency

Quantum Storage Systems was featured in the October 20011 issue of Modern Materials Handling Magazine. The article featuring the company explains how a manufacturer of earth-moving equipment had a rapid increase in demand of their products and was looking for a heavy-duty plastic bin system and supplier. They needed this system to consist of large bins in a variety of colors to help organize, sort, and transport millions of small parts. The supplier had ordered more than 250,000 bins over a two-year period. By using these bins, the customer saw significant improvements to their inventory control.
